Meer dan een woord is het artistiek onderzoek dat we voerden tijdens 2015-2017 voor LUCA School of Arts. Bedoeling was het in kaart brengen van de manier waarop beeld, geluid en betekenis gestapeld wordt in de poëzieperformance. Met ons eigen werk als uitgangspunt trachtten we deze drie lagen van een performance uit elkaar te trekken, om daarna op zoek te gaan naar de verschillende mogelijke werkwijzes om die drie lagen vervolgens weer te combineren.
More than words is the artistic research we conducted in 2015-2017 for LUCA School of Arts. We tried to map out the different ways image, sound and meaning can be layered in poetry performance. Using our own practice as a starting point, we tried to peel apart these three layers, to try and figure out how and why we could/did combine them again.
